SuperNatural is a forthcoming exhibition juried by Arnold J Kemp, artist and former Associate Curator of Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, San Francisco. September 6 – October 8, 2007, during PICA’s Time-Based Art Festival.
ABOUT SuperNatural
PICA seeks submissions of artwork by Portland based artists for an Entry Fee-Free Juried Exhibition. SuperNatural, was conceived as a response to the current political and cultural climate. The work chosen for this exhibition will be featured concurrently with DAYDREAM NATION (The Suspiria Version) an exhibition of new work by Arnold J. Kemp to be presented by PICA at the 2007 Time-Based Art Festival
We are looking for the abnormal, celestial, concealed, dark, fabulous, ghostly, hidden, impenetrable, invisible, metaphysical, miraculous, mystic, numinous, obscure, occult, paranormal, phenomenal, preternatural, psychic, rare, secret, spectral, superhuman, superior, supermundane, superordinary, transcendental, uncanny, incomprehensible, unearthly, unfathomable, unintelligible, unknowable, unknown, unnatural, unrevealed, and unusual.
