Meet PICA artist and residence Matthew Day Jackson and contribute your voice to his project Tuesday June 26 at 5pm.

Jackson has been in town working on several new sculptures in which gnarled trees are cannons and bones, trash is beauty and the sleeping muses are awakened. Work developed during his residency will be on view this Fall as part of TBA 06.

The artist invites you to his studio to record your "sung" version of an air raid siren. These recordings will help build a multi-layered soundtrack for one of his pieces. Hang out or participate at this informal "come as you are" Recording Session and PICA BBQ.
