TBA:08 ON SIGHT: The New Absurdists is a gathering of over a dozen artist projects ranging from solo artist presentations, collaborative experiments, and several exhibitions. The artists included abandon realism in favor of parody. They employ comedy, magic, satire, spoof, wordplay and nonsense to explain our current chaotic, complex and critical state of affairs. Much of the work is the result of special commissions or was created while in residence at PICA.
