Volunteering
From helping to organize special events, to meeting and hosting artists, to installing artwork and building gallery spaces, to ushering performances; PICA's team of 300+ volunteers work alongside staff members on many aspects of the TBA Festival. Volunteers can earn PICA memberships, TBA Passes and tickets to performances in exchange for their work.
The PICA community includes everyone interested in the creative exploration and artistic expression of new ideas. Strengthening and extending this community is one of our primary objectives, and we do it by presenting work that evokes inspired, impassioned dialogue.
We also collaborate with like-minded individuals, institutions, private partners and public agencies, drawing on their respective talents and capabilities to build cultural bridges that connect people to mind-broadening experiences, new ways of seeing, and to each other.
PICA Internships
PICA interns work alongside specific staff members on many aspects of our programming and operations. We expect each intern to identify and carry out an independent project, in addition to assisting staff across departments with general duties. Please see below for current internship openings. You should direct your resume and cover letter, along with starting dates and available hours, to the appropriate contact for your preferred position.
Interns receive a PICA membership, and admission to programs and special events. PICA does not provide housing, travel, or monetary compensation for interns, though we are happy to work with your educational institution to arrange for course credit.
Please read on for current internship openings. For general intern inquiries, please contact andrew@pica.org
