Am I standing in the right line?


I often feel entitled to virtuosity.


Contemporary art speaks to the past as much as to the now or the future.


Discovery is a form of pleasure.


Not understanding is a form of fear.


Audience camaraderie has a ritual function.


Sympathy/empathy for the performers is a surprise (see above entitlement).


Imagination might be more important than anything else.
