Michelle Ellsworth
Michelle Ellsworth co-mingles technology, carpentry, and quilting with dance in an attempt to choreograph high-functioning coping strategies for geopolitical (and personal) phenomena. Ellsworth is currently making a 7-inch recording with drummer Sean Meehan, creating a new dance for wood camera and starting her next quilt, Quilt Complex #9. Among her honors are a Doris Duke Impact Award (2015), Creative Capital Fellowship (2013), Doris Duke Building Demand for the Arts Grant (2014), a NEFA National Dance Project Grant (2014), and an NPN Creation Fund Grant.
