Segade is a member of My Barbarian, a performance and video art collective, exhibiting and performing at MoMA, New Museum, Whitney Museum, The Kitchen, Participant inc., New York; Hammer Museum, Human Resources, Los Angeles; Hirschhorn, DC; Museo El Eco, Madrid; Townhouse Gallery, Cairo; Yaffo23, Jerusalem, Israel, among many others.  Segade received Art Matters Grants in 2008 and 2011; Creative Capital Grant in 2012;and Foundation for Contemporary Art Award, 2013. A Native Calfornian, Alexandro Segade lives in Brooklyn.
