Valeriya Berezhynska spent two decades on basketball courts across eight countries, learning exactly how her body was supposed to move. She has spent the years since relearning that. Born in Ukraine and professionally formed in France, she now lives in Portland where she works in global product by day and immerses in pole dancing by night—exploring the other side of movement. 

When she is not performing in spaces that make her nervous, she is sewing her own clothes, tending her plants, and plotting to move to the Netherlands, which is either very brave or a pattern.
