Michelle Boulé

Michelle Boulé is a NYC-based dance artist. Her work explores the intersections of traditional and contemporary healing practices with dance and aesthetic form, to create aesthetically enlivened experiences for the potential of what and who we are.

Boulé has received commissions and presentations from The Chocolate Factory, Danspace Project, Triple Canopy, Baryshnikov Arts Center, Summer Stages Dance @ICA Boston, River to River Festival, American Realness, The Met Breuer (with Okkyung Lee), and ISSUE Project Room. Recent awards include: Distinguished Legacy Award from the University of Illinois, New York Foundation for the Arts Choreography Fellowship, Boekelheide Creativity Award, Jerome Foundation Travel & Study Grant, and residencies from LMCC’s Extended Life Dance Development Program, MacDowell, Yaddo, Bemis Center, Movement Research, and Dance Ireland. She is a “Bessie” Award winning performer, having collaborated with Miguel Gutierrez (2001-16), Bebe Miller, John Jasperse, and Deborah Hay. She teaches internationally and maintains a healing practice.

Reese Bowes

Artist, musician, engineer, teacher, mentor... Reese is an accomplished, multi-disciplinary designer with nearly two decades of experience designing, testing, and building products for the technology industry. His personal work has been exhibited in Portland at galleries like PDX Contemporary and Disjecta, and he has been performing across genres in electronic music at multiple venues across the city (S1, Holocene, Disjecta, Ace Hotel, KEX, the NW Film Center...).
