An emerging media artist based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Thauberger’s recent video and photographic work often involves collaboration with its subjects and invites both sympathetic and critical reflection of tropes relating to individualism and self-expression, romanticism and nature and aspects of youth cultures with which she identifies.

Portland State University’s Art Department offers free public lectures every Monday night of the school year. This is the fifteenth lecture of the fourth year of the PMMNLS.
