The Journal of Aesthetics and Protest is a Los Angeles based artist collective whose magazine sits at the discursive juncture of fine art, media theory and anti-authoritarian activism. Please join co-founder and collective member Marc Herbst for a presentation and theoretical retrospective of the past seven years of the project’s life.

Portland State University’s Art Department offers free public lectures every Monday night of the school year. The PSU MFA Monday Night Lecture Series is supported in part by PICA, Cooley Gallery at Reed College, Disjecta, Le Happy, Wealth Underground Farm, Bear Deluxe Magazine, Northwest Film Center.
