Description

Part seance and part dance party, Gasp! is the second opera from Colin Self's series Shadow, a theatrical performance about queer ancestry, spiritual guidance, and the spirit of play. As a frequent proponent of community collaboration, Colin turns this time to the dead community as figures to chart trans-dimensional communication. Accompanied by puppets, live video, and an ensemble of local performers, Colin guides audiences on a musical journey into the spirit world and back again.
