Parking

PICA's neighborhood has recently changed its parking requirements. The Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) uses special parking time limits and rates near venues with large events with 10,000 or more people, including the Moda Center, Oregon Convention Center, Veterans Memorial Coliseum, and Providence Park. Visit PICA

PICA’s home in Northeast Portland’s Eliot neighborhood made its debut at TBA:16, with its impressive 16,000 square feet of space serving as the home of our late-night WORKS programming, several mainstage programs, and the central box office for the year’s Festival. In 2017, PICA’s offices relocated permanently from the West End location to the Hancock St. Building.

PICA is committed to being a welcoming space for all bodies, including Deaf, Disabled, BIPOC+, and LGBTQIA2S+ communities. We strive to be an accessible venue for a wide range of needs and requirements. Below are some of the ways in which we are endeavoring to make PICA accessible:

  • ASL interpretation of select performances, conversations, workshops, and events

  • Priority seating for those with access needs

  • Earplugs available for all performances

  • ADA Wheelchair accessible bathrooms and facilities

  • Bartop menus

  • On-site staff prepared to answer questions about access needs

COVID-19 POLICY

PICA wants to remain considerate of our staff, artists, and guests with varying levels of vulnerability, safety, and comfort. Masks are worn at your discretion should you feel more comfortable while attending an event. Anyone experiencing or exhibiting any symptoms of COVID-19 or who has been in contact with others is asked to stay home to avoid the risk of exposing others.

GETTING TO PICA

PICA is centrally located in Portland, just off of highways 84 and I5 North/South Moda Center exits, one block north of the intersection ofﾠNE Broadway and N. Williams Ave. We always encourage rideshare, biking, and public transportation. For those who don't mind the distance, the Rose Quarter Transit Center max station is a half-mile away. The 4 and 44 bus routes will drop guests just 1.5 blocks away, there is also a stop for the 17 which is about three blocks away. We encourage visitors to use Trimet or google maps to navigate the best route from their location.
